About Accreditation
Course accreditation is a review process designed to assess whether a course, resource or training programme meets professional standards of quality, structure, learner support and educational value.
Accreditation helps provide reassurance to students, clients and employers that a provider has taken steps to have their course materials professionally reviewed.
Course Accreditation supports training providers, educators and professional service providers across a wide range of industries with accessible accreditation and quality-focused recognition.
Becoming accredited can help strengthen your credibility, support learner confidence and demonstrate that your course or resource has been reviewed against our internal standards.
We review areas such as course structure, learning objectives, course content, assessment methods, learner support, professional relevance, health and safety considerations where applicable, and overall educational quality.

No. Course Accreditation is no longer affiliated with CPD-Index.
CPD Points are now issued directly by Course Accreditation through our own internal assessment framework.
CPD Points are usually guided by the estimated guided learning hours attached to a course.
As a general indication, one CPD Point may represent approximately one hour of structured learning. However, we also consider course structure, learning outcomes, assessment requirements, learner engagement and the overall educational value of the course.
Guided learning hours help indicate the estimated structured learning time required to complete a course.
These hours can help inform how many CPD Points may be allocated. Final allocation may also consider course depth, learning outcomes, assessment requirements, professional relevance and overall educational value.
No. Acceptance of CPD Points may vary between employers, professional bodies, membership organisations, institutions and industry regulators.
Learners should always check individual CPD requirements where specific recognition is needed.
