Transparent Accreditation

Clear Information. No Overstated Claims.

Course Accreditation provides independent educational review against its own accreditation framework. Accreditation does not mean that Course Accreditation is a government regulator or statutory awarding body.

Accreditation does not automatically guarantee insurance acceptance, employment, legal compliance or acceptance by another organisation. Training providers should always check the separate legal, professional and insurance requirements relevant to the courses and treatments they offer.

Where insurance is required, providers should confirm cover directly with their chosen insurer and ensure all tutors, treatments and activities are correctly declared.

Frequently Asked Questions

Design Accreditation FAQs

Why should I join Course Accreditation?
Course Accreditation independently reviews training courses against its educational framework. Accredited providers also gain access to provider tools including the Accreditation Portal and Directory. The purpose is to support clearer course standards, structured review and ongoing provider account management.
Does Course Accreditation provide insurance?
No. Course Accreditation does not itself provide or guarantee insurance cover. Providers are responsible for arranging suitable insurance and confirming directly with their chosen insurer that their courses, treatments, tutors and business activities are covered.
Can I apply if I am based outside the UK?
International training providers may apply where the required course information and evidence can be reviewed. Submissions should be provided in English unless otherwise agreed. Providers remain responsible for checking the local legal, insurance and professional requirements that apply in the country where training is delivered.
Can I accredit unlimited courses?
Yes. Your active Design subscription covers unlimited eligible course submissions within the Design category. Courses in a different industry category require a separate subscription for that industry.
What happens if I offer both Design and Beauty courses?
Design and Beauty are separate subscription categories. Your Design subscription covers eligible Design courses. If you also teach courses that fall within the Beauty category, a separate Beauty subscription is required for those courses.
Can online courses be accredited?
Eligible online courses may be submitted where the appropriate Online Courses Add-On is held alongside an active accreditation subscription. The delivery model, learning materials, assessments and learner support should accurately reflect how the course operates.
How do I submit my resources?
After purchasing your subscription, use the designated Submit Resources process to provide the required learning materials and supporting information. You can then follow relevant course statuses and Tutor Notes through your provider account.
What happens if amendments are required?
Amendments do not automatically mean a course has been rejected. If changes or clarification are required, Tutor Notes will explain what needs attention. Update the relevant resources and resubmit them for further review.
How will my business appear in the Directory?
Eligible providers can maintain directory information including relevant business and accredited course details. It is the provider's responsibility to ensure their listing remains accurate and up to date.
How can I pay for my subscription?
The Design subscription is available as either £20 per month or £200 per year. Available checkout payment methods will be displayed when completing your order.
Does the subscription automatically renew?
Subscription renewals operate according to the payment and subscription terms shown at checkout and within the Course Accreditation Terms & Conditions. If you wish to cancel, follow the applicable cancellation process before the next renewal where required.
What happens if my subscription expires or is cancelled?
Accreditation benefits depend on maintaining the applicable active subscription. If a subscription ends, accreditation statuses, directory visibility and permission to present courses as currently accredited may be affected. Rejoining may require courses or resources to be resubmitted under the applicable terms.
Can I add additional tutors?
Yes. Additional tutors can be managed through the Tutor Add-On system. One Tutor Add-On provides one tutor credit, and the tutor must then be submitted through your provider portal. Purchasing a credit alone does not register the tutor.
What am I agreeing to when I purchase?
By purchasing a Course Accreditation subscription you agree to the applicable subscription, accreditation, cancellation and provider terms. Please review the Terms & Conditions before purchasing.
What industries does Course Accreditation cover?
Course Accreditation supports training providers across more than 20 industry categories. Each subscription covers unlimited eligible courses within the selected category, while additional industries require separate subscriptions.
