Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) is offered by Course Accreditation in partnership with Training & Beauty by HAMPSON, a VTCT Approved Centre.
This introductory teaching qualification provides a strong foundation for individuals who are interested in teaching or training within the adult education and skills sector. It is suitable for those who are new to teaching as well as professionals who want to develop their knowledge, confidence and understanding of effective education and training practices.
Delivered online, the course gives learners the flexibility to study at their own pace and work around existing professional or personal commitments.
With approximately 48 hours of focused study, and around 120 Total Qualification Time hours including independent research and assessment, learners can progress through the qualification at a pace that suits them. Course access is available for up to 12 months from enrolment.

Training & Beauty by HAMPSON is a VTCT Approved Centre, supporting the delivery and administration of this qualification.
Course Accreditation itself is not presented as a VTCT Approved Centre.
What Does the Level 3 Award in Education and Training Cover?
The qualification covers three key areas:
- Understanding the Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training
- Understanding and Using Inclusive Learning and Teaching Approaches in Education and Training
- Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
These units introduce learners to the responsibilities of a trainer, inclusive teaching methods, learner support, assessment practices and the principles involved in delivering effective education and training.

- Successfully complete the qualification requirements and receive your regulated qualification certificate through the delivery partnership.
Assessment
Assessment includes written assignments throughout the qualification together with a final 15-minute recorded microteaching session.
Your tutor will review your work, provide feedback and advise where amendments or resubmissions are required.

About Course Accreditation
Once you have become a member of Course Accreditation, you will be required to send us the necessary learning resources, that you would like accredited via our designated form. Simply purchase your subscription then head over to the top or the bottom of the page, where it says ‘SUBMIT RESOURCES’, we will then audit your content via our specialist assessment team, and you will be notified via email once your documents have been accredited, or need amendments. Please allow up to 5 working days for each individual document to be assessed. You will also be listed on our ‘Directory’ page, for other individuals to see that your course content is accredited.
Course Accreditation allows businesses of different fields to be accredited, whether that be in their course or resources.
